Situation
FMI, the food industry association, initially partnered with Cenero to upgrade several small conference rooms in their previous headquarters. When FMI made the decision to reduce their footprint, it led to a full relocation to a new office. As their trusted AV integrator, Cenero was brought in to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
Solution
Cenero supported the relocation by moving existing systems into the new space while also introducing a more standardized approach to conference room technology. Smaller rooms were outfitted with simple, consistent solutions for easy day-to-day use, while larger spaces were designed with more advanced systems leveraging Q-SYS technology and intelligent camera functionality to enhance hybrid collaboration.
As part of the engagement, Cenero also executed a service takeover, integrating FMI into a unified support framework to ensure consistency across all spaces. This support model carried through the relocation and was further expanded to meet the needs of the new environment. To support long-term performance, a tiered proactive support approach was implemented, with UC Proactive services for smaller rooms and full Proactive coverage for more advanced spaces. This approach enabled FMI to successfully transition into their new headquarters with a modernized, standardized AV environment backed by reliable, ongoing support.
