CASE STUDY: Lockheed Martin
Exhibit Hall design and execution
The Challenge
When Lockheed Martin contacted Cenero’s Audio Visual Show Solutions team, they had a unique challenge for a very high profile event. Their annual Shareholder’s meeting, bringing together investors from all across the globe, was coming up, and the venue selected was a warehouse on Lockheed’s campus. The challenge was to turn this space into a high-tech immersive exhibit hall and not have any part of the warehouse visable. Cenero’s dedicated event production staff as equal to the challenge and worked closely with Lockheed Martin to design a solution that met all of their needs.
The Solution
After the temporary carpet and walls were installed, Cenero’s engineers got to work bringing the exhibit hall from concept to reality. This was no easy task, taking almost 3 weeks to build out the exhibit hall. A fog wall with the Lockheed Martin logo marked the entrance to the exhibit hall. The ceiling was covered with white fabric that was accented with lights. A grey drape was used to cover the gap between the top of the temporary walls and the ceiling of the exhibit space. Light trusses were hung from the ceiling and several hundred lights were used to light and accent the space. At the center of the hall was a four sided twenty foot LED wall suspended from the ceiling. This allowed content to be viewed from anywhere in the hall. Several large displays were positioned around the space including 103” plasma screens and a 6’x8’ LED display wall. Each booth also had an interactive kiosk containing a vertical 42” plasma touch screen that the guests could interact with to learn more about the product on display. Speakers were setup around the hall for various announcements and for audio re-enforcement during the CEO’s presentation.
The Result
Cenero was able to deliver an award winning experience that exceeded Lockheed Martin's expectations and contributed to the success of their event.
