CASE STUDY: FOX CHASE CANCER CENTER

Cenero outfits a state of the art conference room

Design Criteria

Fox Chase Cancer Center, the Philadelphia region’s only hospital devoted entirely to cancer treatment, research and prevention, is highly dedicated to the ongoing education of their doctors and nurses. As such, their educational initiatives are very important aspects of their everyday business. When it came time to upgrade their education center, they turned to Cenero to design and implement an audio visual solution that would make the experience for their educators, staff and partners highly efficient and productive. The requirements included the need to present high resolution images, and presentations to a diverse group located both physically and virtually via closed circuit video and audio conference.

Solution

The Lippincott Room at Fox Chase Cancer Center is now the primary presentation resource for the ongoing education of doctors and nurses at the hospital. Cenero collaborated with Fox Chase Cancer Center to design a system that makes education an immersive and collaborative experience. The three projection screens are capable of displaying various sources from any number of media including closed circuit video from operating rooms, high resolution computer graphics, CATV and more. A fully integrative audio conferencing solution allows both near and far end attendees to communicate seamlessly with each other. Finally the combination of a Crestron control system and Cenero designed interface makes the system extremely easy to use for users of any acumen level.
